The North Central Pennsylvania Pressed Materials Consortium
Advancing the Future of American Manufacturing from the Heart of Pennsylvania

The North Central Pennsylvania Pressed Materials Consortium, comprised of industry leaders, education, and economic development partners in Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, Potter, and McKean counties has created a strategic roadmap to position the region as a global leader in the production of pressed materials and machined parts.
With over 64 companies specializing in powdered metallurgy and emerging manufacturing processes, representing approximately 40% of all such companies in the United States, North Central Pennsylvania is uniquely positioned to be a global leader in pressed materials application and technology. These businesses are pivotal to our regional economy and expanding advanced manufacturing in the US.
This project is led by North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission in partnership with industry, academic, economic development, workforce, and technology partners.
